Nancy Jo grew up in Warwick, graduating from Warwick Valley High School and earning a degree as an Occupational Therapist. She worked for 30 years at Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center, Orange Ulster BOCES and, most recently, as a teacher’s assistant at The Montessori Kids Center in Deerfield Beach.

Nancy Jo was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Hipe Cosh Langlitz.
Nancy Jo enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, and gardening. She was very friendly and approachable and had a laugh that would light up a room and a heart made of gold. She loved her job working with children and took great pride in her work. She was a loving and thoughtful grandmother, always planning activities to do with her grandchildren and giving them her undivided attention; some might say she enjoyed her time with them more than with the adults. She was a warm and caring mother and loved sharing her beautifully decorated home with anyone that wanted to come over for a visit.
She loved her family and she will be forever in our thoughts and our hearts.
Memorial Services are scheduled for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to No Kid Hungry or any animal shelter, in honor of Nancy Jo’s dogs she loved so much - Scout, Jack and Muncie.
