Nancy H. Auberger passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, with her son by her side. She was

Nancy was born on October 1, 1937, in Pine Island, N.Y. She was raised in Warwick, N.Y., before moving to Vernon, N.J., where she remained a lifelong resident. She was 84.

Nancy was known for her love of nature, gardening, cooking and baking, and her welcoming personality. N

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John; her parents, Fred and Florence Urbin; and brothers, Jack and Frederick and sister Ann.

She is survived by sons John and Barry, both of Vernon; two granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Vernon Fire Department, which she supported throughout her life. Private cremation services are under the direction of Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon.
