Monroe ‘Bucky’ Gray

Monroe “Bucky” H. Gray Jr. of Hobe Sound, Fla., and formerly Warwick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, in Dingman Township, Pa.

Bucky was born May 13, 1943, in Warwick where he resided until his move to Hobe Sound in 2002.

He is predeceased by his parents, Monroe Henry Gray Sr. and Jessie Mae Wygant Gray and his best friend Poochie Lesando.

Bucky and friends formed a club in Warwick called The Continentals. They sponsored local dances, bake sales and helped the community in any way they could.

He was a former member of the Sundowners Motorcycle Club and an avid Yankees fan.

He leaves behind three daughters and one son: Kim Gray Collins with her husband Marty, Lisa Gray O’Brien with her husband Patrick, Rebecca Gray Kochovos with her husband Demetrius and Mark Monroe Gray with wife Stacey; nine adored grandchildren: Marty, Kelsey, Marissa, Matty, Austin, Jeremy, Raina, Dylan and Bo; three devoted sisters: Peggy Falahee, Betty Smith and Glenda Mracek all of Hobe Sound, Fla.; and his much loved nieces, nephews and many loyal friends.

The family will hold a celebration of Bucky’s life on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m., at the Pine Island Polish American Legion in Pine Island. All are welcome to come.
