Michael Carbone

Michael (Mickey) Carbone, a 45-year resident of Warwick, passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at home with his loving family around him. He was 75 years old.

Michael loved and lived for his family.

He was born on June 18, 1939 in Jersey City, New Jersey.

He was married in December 1960 to Pauline (Muscarnero) Carbone.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a water plant operator with United Water Company in West Nyack for 35 years before retiring.

He was an active volunteer and member of Excelsior Fire Company in Warwick.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; his children: Angela Becker and her husband Vincent, Michael Carbone and his wife Baylynn Molina, Pauline Corti and her husband Darrel and JoAnn Noone and her husband Chris. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathryn, and a son, Mario. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren who meant the world to him: Scott, Joey, Victoria, Michelle, Jacob, Claire, Carlina, Julianna and Nicholas.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 12 at St. Columba R.C. Church in Chester. Interment followed in St. Columba Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
