Mark J. Gagliardi of Monroe, a train technician for Kinkisharyo International and a lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, N.J. He was 51.
The son of Martin Gagliardi and Louise Gagliardi, he was born on March 5, 1965, in Brooklyn.
Survivors include his wife Karen Gagliardi at home; his son Christopher Gagliardi at home; his father Martin Gagliardi of Greenwood Lake; his brother Joseph Gagliardi and his wife Sue of Atlanta, Georgia; his Aunt Marie Rust-Crosson and his niece Maria and nephew Joey and great-niece Delaney and great-nephew Dax. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Margaret Motichka and his brothers-in-law James Motichka and Michael Motichka and his wife Gerrie; and his sister-in-law Joanne Motichka.
He was predeceased by his mother Louise Gagliardi and his sister Carolyn Gagliardi.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Holy Rosary Church 41, Windermere Ave. Greenwood Lake.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
