Lisa Oboyski, of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was 56.
The daughter of the late Rolan Royce and Ruth Cromwell Gesner, she was born on April 19, 1965, in Warwick, NY.
A loving mother, a proud grandma, outgoing sister and a stranger’s best friend. An animal lover and avid gardener who was always in search of the end of a rainbow and always made time to enjoy a sunset. We will miss her strong, never ending hugs.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon DeFreese and Casandra Royce; grandchildren, Olivia, Savannah and Christopher Shephard Jr.; 5 siblings, Sharon DePuy (Thomas); Linda Gove (Winky); Allan Royce (Denise); James Gesner (Robyn) and Richard Royce (Debi); along with several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Mark Royce.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, from 3-6 p.m. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. A private cremation will follow and a burial in Warwick Cemetery at a later date.
