John Vincent Charles Dombrowski of Florida, N.Y., former owner of Dombrowski’s Farm Supply in the Village of Florida, entered into rest on Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was 92.
The son of John and Anna Harter Dombrowski, he was born July 22, 1923, in Florida, N.Y.
He served as a Merchant Marine during World War II and was a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 1250 in Florida.
Survivors include his daughter S. Susan Zanetti and her husband Lawrence of Glenwood, Maryland; son William Dombrowski and his wife Susan of Boynton Beach, Florida; son Joseph H. Dombrowski and his wife Suzanne of Goshen; grandsons Joseph Zanetti and his wife Catherine of Fairfax, Virginia; Ross Dombrowski of Weehawken, N.J.; John G. Dombrowski of Goshen; and great grandson Luke Joseph Zanetti of Fairfax, Virginia.
He was predeceased by his wife, Stephanie Kunz Dombrowski, and a younger brother, Joseph Dombrowski.
There will be no visitation.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 14 at St. Joseph Church in the Village of Florida.
Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
