John Thomas Hayes of Warwick entered into rest on Friday, July 7, 2023. He was 86.
The son of John Hayes and Elizabeth Miller Hayes, he was born on Dec. 10, 1936, in Warwick.
Tom was the proud owner of Hayes Barber Shop in Warwick from 1956-2016; a 60-year member of the Excelsior Sportsman Club; a member of the Excelsior Engine Company, Warwick and a Past Chief of the Warwick Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Weslowski Hayes.
Visitation was held July 11 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida.
A funeral mass followed at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida.
Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the T.S. Purta Funeral Home.
