James McSherry of Florida, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021. He was 52 years old.
Born in New York City on Sept. 17, 1968, he was the son of Barbara and James E. McSherry.
James was an amazing athlete from his younger years in baseball and hockey to his present golf career. He loved sharing his expertise with all. He had a love for animals and always adopted shelter dogs, giving them a better and spoiled life.
James is survived by his mother Barbara; brother John “Jack” of New York City; sister Jennifer of Warwick; aunt and godmother Ann of New York City; two nieces, Gwenyth and Grace; many cousins and, of course, our Stuyvesant family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at St. Stephen’s Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
