Frances M. Gorish of Florida, N.Y., a retired vice president of the Warwick Savings Bank, entered into rest on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023. She was 95.
The daughter of Frank Stankiewicz and Anna Harter Stankiewicz, she was born on May 15, 1927, in Warwick.
Frances was a member of St. Joseph Church; Golden Floridian Senior Citizens; American Legion Post 1250 Ladies Auxiliary; and a longtime member of the Warwick Savings Bank Foundation.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Reed (Jay) of Modesto, California; along with numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred O. Gorish; sisters Clara Colletta, Martha Stankiewicz and Virginia Segal; and brother Joseph Stankiewicz.
Visitation was held Jan. 30 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave.
A funeral mass was held Jan. 31 at St. Joseph Church, Florida.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in Florida.
