Christina Mary Watson

Christina “Chris” M. Watson of Highland Mills passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
She was born Jan. 9, 1943, in the Bronx. The youngest sister to four brothers, Christina was the daughter of David and Catherine “Kitty” Kelly Curtin.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY New Paltz, Chris worked as a psychiatric-mental health nurse at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt campus of the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System and later at the Behavioral Health Center at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the Woodbury Senior Citizens of Highland Mills.
Her loving husband William J. Watson of Highland Mills survives. Also surviving are her children and their spouses: Suzanne Bussetti and her husband Christopher of Allendale, New Jersey; her son James Watson and his wife Margaret of Los Olivos, California; her son David Watson of Warwick; her four grandchildren: Emma, Lukas, Margaret and Lucy; and her nephews and nieces David, Vincent, Brendan, Kevin, Kathleen and Regina.
Chris was predeceased by her brothers David, Edward, John and Brendan.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass was celebrated a on July 20 at St. Patrick’s Church in Highland Mills.
Interment followed in the Cemetery of the Highlands in Highland Mills.
