Joseph and Sue Galiano of Warwick celebrate 50 years of marriage this Sept. 1. They are pictured here with their daughter Jeanne.
WARWICK — Joseph and Sue Galiano of Warwick will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1.
They met in Spring Valley in 1965. Sue was on a bridge with her best friend, Chris, talking to frogs in the water.
Joe walked over with his friends to say hello.
The rest is history.
Joe and Sue got married at the New City courthouse on Sept. 1, 1966.
They have made their home in Warwick for the last 44 years. They have two grown children, Joseph Galiano Jr. of Monroe and Jeanne Galiano of Waterbury, Vermont.
Joe is retired from the Rockland County School District; however, that has not slowed him down. Sue has been an amazing wife, mother, homemaker and support to her family.
