Horton completes Air Force basic training

Warwick resident and Air Force Airman Nicholas J. Horton graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Horton, a 2008 Warwick Valley High School graduate, studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. He also earned credits toward an associate’s degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is the son of Jeanne Horton-Gonnan and Kenneth Horton, both of Warwick.
