Kaitlyn Hurley and Michael Conklin to wed

James and Terri Hurley of Warwick are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlyn Ryan, to Michael Conklin, son of Michael and Dana Conklin also of Warwick. Kaitlyn and Michael, both lifelong Warwickians, were engaged on April 1, 2014.

Both Kaitlyn and Michael graduated from Warwick Valley High School in the class of 2006. Kaitlyn went on to Ramapo College, graduating with a bachelor's degree in nursing and is currently employed as a registered nurse at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J. She is pursuing her masters degree and plans to become a nurse practitioner.

Michael graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education/special education from Mount St. Mary's College and is currently working toward his master's degree. He is employed as a fourth/fifth grade special education teacher for the Florida, N.Y., school district.

Kaitlyn and Michael's wedding is planned for Nov. 28, 2014. The happy couple will be residing in their hometown of Warwick.
