Dr. Christopher Robert Scianna and Renée Richelle Morgiewicz are happy to announce their engagement to be married in October 2023 at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church in Warwick by the Rev. Fr. Kyle Eads.
Chris Scianna graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca as a doctor of osteopathy from the University of New England in Maine.
Chris is an emergency room physician.
Renée Morgiewicz graduated from Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida, with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., with a master’s in business.
Renée is the pro-life director for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.
Chris is the son of Robert Scianna and Linda (Moyer) Brown of Onondaga County. Chris was raised in Tully, near Syracuse.
Renée was raised in Warwick in Orange County. Renée is the daughter of Gary Morgiewicz and Celia (Pawlikowski) Morgiewicz of Warwick.
The happy couple will live in their new home together after marriage in Pennsylvania.
