Claire Folino to wed Travis Legacy

PINE ISLAND — Ross and Madelyn Folino of Pine Island announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Lynette, to Travis William Legacy, the son of Peter and Lyne Legacy of Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Claire is a 2005 graduate of Warwick Valley High School and graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Albany with a bachelor of arts degree in Art History/ French in 2009.

After college, she served for two years in AmeriCorps as a VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America), working for non-profit agencies serving children in poverty in Wyoming, California and Maine.

She is a painter, primarily of portraits in oil.

Travis is a 2006 graduate of Sugarloaf Senior High School in Campbellton and a 2011 graduate of New Brunswick Community College in Moncton, earning an associate’s degree in civil engineering.

He is employed as the construction manager for Top Rank Renovations, Ltd., a family business in New Brunswick.

Claire and Travis are presently renovating a century-old home in the Restigouche River Valley. They plan to marry after relocating to Nova Scotia later this year.
