Alissa Balacky and Robert Malcolm to marry in October 2020

Robert Malcolm and Alissa Balacky got engaged in February 2019, and plan to marry in October 2020.

Robert and Alissa both graduated from Burke Catholic High School in 2011 and later reconnected to form the relationship they have now.

Robert graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from SUNY Maritime College and sailed in the United States Merchant Marines. He is currently working as a building engineer in New York City.

Alissa went on from Burke to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Laboratory Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J., and then obtained her Master's of Science in Molecular Medicine from Drexel University in Philedelphia, Pa.

It's an exciting time as they both start to plan the rest of their lives together.
