A family celebrates

WARWICK — Krysta Marie Vesely graduated dean's list from Queens College in May, receiving a bachelor of arts degree. She volunteered in the New York City Reading Partners Program, was an assistant student teacher in the Psychology Department, and resident advisor on campus, and is attending New York University for her Licensed Social Worker degree.

Krysta is a 2010 graduate of Warwick High School, Warwick, NY.

Airman Michael Dominick Vesely, First Class Airman, graduated from the United States Air Force Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, on June 20, 2014. He is training at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas.

Michael completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills, and was also on the Alpha running team. Michael is a 2012 graduate of Warwick High School.

Krysta and Michael are the children of Deborah A. Toscano of Warwick, niece and nephew of Michael and Nina Toscano of Greenwood Lake, and Donna Toscano of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and grandchildren of Diane V. Toscano of Venice, Florida.
