Veterans commune with Gold Hill Elementary kids at a breakfast

At a new event at Golden Hill Elementary School in Florida, fifth graders met for breakfast with veterans from American Legion Post 1250. While coffee and cookies were served, students asked questions about the veterans’ service and learned about them. The round table event enabled students to talk to most, if not all, the veterans in attendance.
