Orange County Audubon Society launches memorial bench campaign to support bird sanctuaries

The Orange County Audubon Society invites the public to donate a bench with a commemorative plaque to help support the five bird and wildlife sanctuaries the society currently stewards in Orange County.
For a $250 donation, a brief message may be etched into the plaque affixed to one of eight new benches in an OCAS sanctuary. This is a wonderful opportunity to donate in honor of a loved one who loves birds or the conservationist in your life who would protect open spaces, or the children and grandchildren you hope to leave a greener world.
Each new bench will be a place for bird watching, photography, and contemplation for years to come. The Orange County Audubon Society is conserving more than 300 acres of land in Orange County for birds and wildlife. The public is welcome to visit the sanctuaries for quiet enjoyment of nature.
