On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Greenwood Lake American Legion Post 1443 held a luncheon for veterans from Montrose Veterans Hospital. This is something the Legion does three times a year.
On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Greenwood Lake American Legion Post 1443 held a luncheon for veterans from Montrose Veterans Hospital.
They were served with chicken, turkey, meat loaf and all the trimmings, and played bingo after the meal.
Three times a year, the Legion hosts veterans from the hospital for food and entertainment. More than $300 was given to the veterans in bingo prizes.
