Are you interested in learning new parenting strategies and tools? If so, Cornell Cooperative Extension is once again offering its popular program called Discipline is NOT a Dirty Word, fully online in six one-hour sessions beginning Wednesday, April 28, through Wednesday, June 2, from 7-8 p.m.
This free interactive series is filled with resources about child development, emotional coaching, parenting tools and fun. There is ample room for questions and discussions that support building parental confidence and wellbeing.
Julika von Stackelberg, parenting and community resilience educator at Cornell, says, “We are excited about switching things up and making this series accessible when we all have to stay physically distanced. We have adapted many of the tools and activities to coordinate with what it’s like parenting in a pandemic.”
The virtual format gives participants the opportunity to log in from anywhere without having to worry about childcare, driving or time constraints.
