WARWICK-Orange Environment will hold a fall fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Warwick Valley Winery on Little York Road in Warwick. The event will include a selection of the winery’s wines for tasting, food by Ceil’s Catering, music by area musicians, and a silent and live auction of items donated by area businesses. Attendees will be able to stock up on wine for the holidays, and 15 percent of the sale of wines that evening will benefit the work of Orange Environment. The group has been working to promote environmental sustainability in Orange County and beyond for 23 years. The group provides environmental planning guidance to county residents to help them navigate the planning arena and press for environmentally sustainable measures. It also tracks county and state environmental agendas, keeps a watch on local industry, promotes environmentally sustainable communities and lifestyles, and runs Earth Day events in the spring. Tickets are $30 per person for advance reservations, or $35 at the door with no reservation. Reserve by phone, or mail a check to Orange Environment, P.O. Box 25, Goshen NY 10924.
