This week in the Hudson Valley features a variety of live music events, including the fourth annual ACT Through Music Suicide Prevention & Awareness Faire, the funky vibes of Uncle Shoehorn, and a lineup of jazzy tunes, singer-songwriters, and your favorite covers.

Saturday, July 27

On Saturday, starting at 11 a.m., the Missyping Duo will perform at Greenwood Lake’s Lakeside Farmers Market at Winstanley Park (210 Windermere Ave.).

Starting at 1 p.m., Blue Arrow Farm (86 Glenwood Rd., Pine Island) will host the fourth annual ACT Through Music Suicide Prevention & Awareness event, featuring a full day of live performances by artists such as John Irizarry, John Stanley, Irish Handcuffs Band, Karma Farm, Skyward Fall, T.J. Santiago, SOUL DAWGS, Justus, and Stereo Jo. The event is rain-or-shine with a $20 donation at the door; bringing chairs or blankets is recommended.

At 2 p.m., catch The Rewind at Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery & Orchard (114 Little York Rd., Warwick), playing retro rock tunes, or the Chris Persad Trio at the Last Whisky Bar (45 Woodlands Way, Warwick) for their Saturday afternoon jazz series.

Bittersweet will also perform at 2 p.m. at Clearview Vineyard (35 Clearview Lane, Warwick) and Brian & Rosie will perform at Applewood Winery (82 Four Corners Rd., Warwick).

At the same time, Gayle Donnelly will showcase her vocal and piano talents at Apple Dave’s Orchards (82 Four Corners Rd., Warwick).

Starting at 5 p.m. at Pennings Farm Cidery (4 Warwick Turnpike, Warwick), their Cidery Sunset Series continues with DJ Skyhook and Professor Pete, with a $10 cover charge including one beer or cider.

The Chris Raabe Band will rock Tin Barn Brewery (62 Kings Hwy Bypass, Chester) at 5 p.m., followed by the Sons of Hudson at Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms (286 Maple Ave., New Hampton) at 6 p.m. The evening continues with Judith Tulloch playing at 7 p.m. at the Last Whisky Bar, covering favorites by Santana, Sade, Marc Anthony, Stevie Wonder, and more.

Uncle Shoehorn’s Funky Dance Party takes over Pine Island Tap House (682 County Rd 1 Suite B, Pine Island) at 7 p.m., while the Beatles tribute band, Come Together, performs at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park (7 Windermere Ave., Greenwood Lake) for Greenwood Lake’s Summer Concert Series.

E’lissa Jones, voted Best Multitalented Musician in the Hudson Valley by Hudson Valley Magazine, will perform on Railroad Green at 7:30 p.m., and the Hudson Valley’s The Tonebenders, will play hits from the 80s to today at Barrel 28 (28 N Main St., Florida) starting at 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, July 28

Starting at 2 p.m., The Classics will play classic covers at Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery & Orchard. Simultaneously, Vinyl Tap, known for their high-energy 80s/90s rock covers, will rock Tin Barn Brewing, while Acoustic Blues with Big Frank & Mike Smith sets the mood at Applewood Winery.

Singer-songwriter Carolyn Weller will also perform at 2 p.m. at Apple Dave’s Orchards, and at the same time, The Review Trio will be at Pennings Farm Market Beer Garden (161 State Route 94 S., Warwick).

Dovetail will play at Clearview Vineyard, and HushH will return to Tin Barn Brewing to rock their stage.

Pine Island Tap House will feature Nailed Shutt playing jam-based tunes at 2 p.m.

At 3 p.m., Stereo Mike’s will perform at the Last Whisky Bar. Finally, at 4 p.m., Some Guys and a Broad will play a full band set of 60s and 70s rock favorites at D’Boathaus (322 Lakeside Rd., Hewitt, N.J.).

Wednesday, July 31

On Wednesday at 4 p.m., enjoy the debut performance of the blues rock band Broad’side Blues Band at Blue Arrow Farm as part of Danny C’s Hot Rod Cruise Night & Summer Concert Series. Later, at 7 p.m., Trail’s End Taphouse at GWL Garden Market (1197 Route 17A, Greenwood Lake) will host their acoustic open jam night.

Thursday, August 1

Celebrate Jerry Garcia’s birthday on Thursday at 7 p.m. with Uncle Shoehorn’s funky set at the Last Whisky Bar.

Friday, August 2

On Friday, at 5 p.m., enjoy the indie folk rock sounds of Owls & Lions at Clearview Vineyard. At 6 p.m., the Dan Brother Band will bring blues, soul, and rock ‘n roll to Echo Fields (197 Pine Hill Rd, Westtown), while the Holmes/McDonough acoustic duo performs at Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms. Also at 6 p.m., catch the Missyping Band, formerly known as No Soap Radio, at Tin Barn Brewing. Later, at 7 p.m., the 3M Band rock out at Cove Castle Restaurant (13 Castle Ct., Greenwood Lake).
