The Board of Trustees of the Albert Wisner Public Library will hold its annual reorganization meeting on Thursday, July, 1 at 7 p.m., at the library.

Drawing class: Capturing nature quickly with Jim Van Gelder
On Thursday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m., join Jim Van Gelder for an outdoor workshop on capturing natural forms and light effects quickly and efficiently.
Emphasis will be on massing in forms such as foliage and the use of values to indicate depth.
All materials will be supplied; all skill levels welcome.

Program will be held outdoors; in case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled and rescheduled.
AWPL Friends of the Library to host outdoor book sale
The Friends of the Library will host an outdoor book sale Satuday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain date Aug. 7).
Everyone who stops by can enter into a drawing for a new Kindle Fire and a “READ” folded book sculpture.
Donations of books in good condition (hardcover or paperback) can be dropped off beginning July 27 during library hours. No magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, audiobooks, music CDs or DVDs will be accepted. Please bring items in a bag or small box.
The Friends hope to re-open the library bookstore after Labor Day.
