Enjoy the last of the summer season by joining Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County on Thursday, Aug. 26, for a night of fun while also supporting a vital community program. This movie night fund raiser at the Warwick Drive-In will directly support the Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP).
Cornell Cooperative’s County’s Relatives as Parents Program is the only community-based program providing resources, education, and peer support to kinship families in Orange County. RAPP has been supporting relative caregivers since 1998 and has since grown to a network of more than 200 families, a countywide agency coalition, a corps of peer mentor volunteers, and a reputation for quality programming. Monthly support groups, educational resources, youth programs, and other support services are available at several Orange County locations.
The movie “Space Jam: A New Legacy” will be shown. Tickets are $12 per adult (ages 12 and over) and $8 per youth (ages 11 and under).
All cars should be parked by 7:45 p.m. Showtime is 8:15 p.m. The Drive-In is located at 5 Warwick Turnpike, Warwick. The snack bar will be open for purchases.
