Warwick Historical Society announces annual wine, cheese, and jazz event
Warwick. Wine expert Amanda Marsh O’Rourke will be on hand to curate this experience.
The Warwick Historical Society’s annual wine, cheese and jazz event will take place in the Herb Wheel Garden behind the historic 1810 House at 80 Main Street, Warwick, on Sunday, August 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. This year, the WHS will feature Amanda Marsh O’Rourke, a celebrated wine educator and expert, who will curate unique blends of wines and cheeses. Marsh O’Rourke, a new WHS member, brings her extensive knowledge and advanced qualifications from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
She has orchestrated tastings and pairings at venues like The Waldorf-Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton. Her mission is to make the world of wine accessible, educational, and enjoyable for all. This is your chance to experience her expertise firsthand and discover a variety of wine and cheese combinations.
Enjoy wines specially selected for the evening by sponsor Peck’s Wine & Spirits, alongside a variety of artisanal cheeses from vendors around the village all while soothing jazz standards play.
This event is suitable for everyone — whether you’re a wine expert, looking to learn more about wine and cheese, or simply enjoy sipping and socializing.
Tickets are $45 for WHS members and $55 for non-members. Call 845-986-3236 for reservations.
