Warwick. Dance Collective presents livestream performances of The Nutcracker
The Warwick Center for the Performing Arts and The Warwick Dance Collective will present a uniquely 2020 Nutcracker production, with multiple livestreamed performances throughout the weekend of Dec. 4–6.
Community members will be able to bring Clara, the Nutcracker, and the Sugar Plum Fairy right into their living rooms to kick off the season with this abridged version of the classic holiday tale.
The live production features professional members of the Warwick Dance Collective along with local students from Warwick Center for the Performing Arts, and will be staged nine times over the course of the weekend, with scenes set across multiple rooms of the WCPA building to provide a safe experience for all performers.
Video livestreams of all nine performances are open to the public.
Tickets for the livestream performances are available for $20 per household at warwickperformingarts.com.
Viewers can tune in through Eventbrite at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m, or 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5; or at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., or 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.
