FLORIDA-During Warwick in Bloom's second annual silent auction of artistic birdhouses and mini-adirondack chairs, held on Sunday, June 5, at the home of John and Connie Vandenberg of Florida, more than 150 guests helped raise money to continue the two-year-old community beautification program. The event also helped to raise money for the Warwick Summer Arts Festival scheduled for July 15 through 24. Thirty-seven artists contributed birdhouses and chairs for the auction. Jonathan Talbot's firecracker birdhouse, titled "Bye-Bye-Birdie," brought in $300. The event also featured a live auction that included two over-sized Adirondack chairs made by Nancy Colgan's equipment repair class at Warwick Valley High School. .
