Warwick. Authors on McFarland presents a discussion Aug. 3 of ‘The Fullest Measure: A Story of Courage, Loss, and a Mother’s Love’
Authors on McFarland present Anne Leavy-Prial to discuss her book, “The Fullest Measure: A Story of Courage, Loss, and a Mother’s Love,” at Albert Wisner Public Library on Thursday, Aug. 3, at 6:30 p.m.
Warwick native Danny Prial was a soldier, a West Point graduate, a New York National Guard pilot, a brother, a friend, an athlete and a son.
His life ended in January 2021 in a helicopter crash during a military training exercise in upstate New York.
“The Fullest Measure: A Story of Courage, Loss, and a Mother’s Love” by Anne Leavy-Prial is a unique telling of Danny’s life, his connections, his friendships and his unbelievable legacy.
Written by his mother, mixed in with real letters from friends, coaches, family and fellow veterans, “The Fullest Measure” is an inspirational and at times gut-wrenching remembrance of a heroic young man taken far too soon.
