Rotarians to host Community Luau at Wickham Woodlands on Sept. 14
WARWICK. Tickets are now on sale for the party that will feature professional hula dancers, a pig roast and smores fire pits.
Warwick Rotarians enjoy hosting enjoyable community fundraisers to benefit local non-profit organizations. After last year’s highly praised lakeside End of Summer Luau at the Town of Warwick’s Wickham Woodlands Park, the more-than-60 members of the service organization are planning for an even larger luau.
The party on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 10 p.m., party will feature professional hula dancers, who will provide hula instructions to luau guests. and live music from CloudNYne and Anna’s World Entertainment.
Added attractions include a traditional pig roast and buffet BBQ dinner, beer, wine, cider and a signature cocktail, bonfires and smores fire pits, festive decorations and dancing.
Proceeds from the luau will be used by the Warwick Valley Rotary Club to support local non-profit organizations. Co-chairs for the event are Tina Buck and Laurene Iammatteo.
Ticket sales will be limited to 250. Attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are $75 per person or $65 if purchased by Aug. 15.
