Local actress to perform in NYC

Central Valley — Laura Welch of Central Valley will be performing in an original musical “Where to Draw the Line?” a work in progress for a new musical about bullying, written by Middletown native Joel Gerson and his wife Inga Gerson. Welch has been singing for 20 years with the Vocal Arts Studio of Wallkill, as well as in other musical performances in the area, and now for the first time on the New York City stage. Performance dates are Aug. 12, 13, 14 at 8 p.m. each night. The performances will be at The Stage IV Theater, located at 300 W. 43 St., in Manhattan.
