Live stream. Sister Act: The Divine Musical at Drama Geek Studios

Drama Geek Studios in Newton, N.J., will livestream the theater adaptation of the classic comedy film Sister Act: The Divine Musical, the weekend of April 9.

Sister Act: The Divine Musical, is directed by Joshua Reed and produced by Drama Geek Studios.

Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg that has audiences jumping to their feet. Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The theater production features the heartwarming, comical and iconic characters of the original 1992 movie. This productions’ cast includes Maria Schneider as Sr. Mary Robert, Meg Koenig as Sr. Mary Patrick, Lori Tomlin as Sr. Mary Lazarus, Budd Williams as Officer Eddie Souther, Dave Delima as Gangster Curtis Jackson as well as a cadre of other local Sussex County residents rounding out the cast.
