Kingston. Hudson River Maritime Museum to present ‘Haunted Rondout’ next month
Experience the history of the Rondout Creek through stories of shipwrecks, maritime murders and ghostly apparitions Oct. 5 through Oct. 31 as Haunted Rondout returns to the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston.
The evening beings with a stroll through the museum for ghostly tales before attendees board the spirit ship to meet the ill-fated souls whose lives were lost in Rondout Creek’s treacherous waters. Haunted Rondout tours will run at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Oct. 5 through Oct. 15 and again from Oct. 18 through Oct. 29. There will be additional nightly tours on Oct. 30 and Halloween.
The tours, which leave on the hour and last approximately 75 minutes, are $40 per person and include cider and a donut.
