The days ahead will be filled with musical fun, featuring a variety of live performances and events continuing throughout the week.

Saturday, August 24

Starting at 11 a.m., the Fuller Moon Arts Festival at Mountain Lake Park (46 Bowen Rd., Warwick) kicks off with three live bands, workshops, and a unique site-specific dance performance by the Warwick Dance Collective. This family-friendly event also features acrobats, drummers, and young dancers from the Forces of Nature Dance Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children 6 to 18.

At noon, the Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery & Orchard (114 Little York Rd., Warwick) hosts a Grateful Dead Tribute Concert, featuring a variety of bands performing faithful renditions of the Dead’s psychedelic rock, transporting you back to the golden age of jam bands. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Children under 5 are free; those 5 to 12 years are $5 at the door. The full weekend is $30 in advance.

If jazz is more your style, the Pete McDonald Trio will bring their smooth sounds to The Last Whisky Bar (45 Woodlands Way, Warwick) as part of the “Saturday Afternoon Jazz Series” at 2 p.m. For a more intimate acoustic experience, head to Clearview Vineyard (35 Clearview Lane, Warwick) to enjoy a performance by Andrew Mercer. Also at 2 p.m., Gayle Donnelly brings her melodic tunes to Apple Dave’s Orchards (82 Four Corners Rd., Warwick), while Jeremy Langdale’s acoustic selections fill the air at Applewood Winery (82 Four Corners Rd.).

The afternoon continues with a special Paw Jam Benefit at Tin Barn Brewing (62 Kings Hwy Bypass, Chester) at 4 p.m., where The Georgia 5 will play 80s music to support Pets Alive in Middletown, NY. At 5 p.m., Pennings Farm Cidery (4 Warwick Turnpike, Warwick) hosts their Sunset Series with Stoneflower, offering a mix of Santana and other rock favorites. Simultaneously, Kickin’ Nash, a band known for their energetic country rock, will rock Echo Fields (197 Pine Hill Rd. Westtown).

As the evening sets in, the Ethan Gutzeit Jazz Trio will deliver a fun jazz performance at Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms (286 Maple Ave., New Hampton) at 6 p.m. and at 7 p.m., JP Conques takes the stage at The Last Whisky Bar for a second round of music.

For those who prefer rock, the Mighty Spectrum Band will play their energetic tunes at Cove Castle Restaurant (13 Castle Ct., Greenwood Lake) starting at 7:30 p.m., while the Rockland County Concert Band brings their symphonic sounds to Railroad Green at the same time. The night concludes with The CliQue playing popular cover tunes at Barrel 28 (28 N Main St., Florida) at 8:30 p.m., and DJ Mike spinning dance tracks at Mattingly’s Tavern (16 N Main St., Florida) at 9 p.m.

Sunday, August 25

The Grateful Dead Tribute Concert resumes at noon at Warwick Valley Winery, offering another day of groovy tunes that celebrate the legendary band’s rich catalog.

At 1 p.m., Garrett Gardner takes the stage at Cove Castle Restaurant and later at 2 p.m., Blue Arrow Farm (86 Glenwood Rd., Pine Island) hosts Freyah for a special tribute to women who rock. An indie rock artist, singer-songwriter, and musician, Freyah is celebrated for her powerful storytelling and dynamic stage presence.

Simultaneously at 2 p.m., Alyssa Goldstein will showcase her powerful vocals and acoustic stylings at Applewood Winery while the indie singer-songwriter duo DnA brings their harmonies to Apple Dave’s Orchards. If you’re in the mood for something different, Clearview Vineyard offers a performance by Dovetail, a band known for their eclectic mix influences. Meanwhile, Strings Attached will deliver pop and rock favorites at Tin Barn Brewing.

As the afternoon unfolds, the Ethan Levy Duo will bring their unique blend of acoustic pop and folk to the Pennings Farm Market Beer Garden (161 Route 94 S., Warwick) at 3 p.m. Wrapping up the day at 4 p.m., the acoustic duo Michael Holmes & Terry McDonough will perform at D’Boathaus (322 Lakeside Rd., Hewitt, N.J.).

Wednesday, August 28

At 4 p.m., Don Oriolo and his all-star band Felix & The Cats bring rock, blues, and jazz to Danny C’s Summer Concert Series and Hot Rod Cruise Night performs at Blue Arrow Farm.

Thursday, August 29

This Thursday at 7 p.m., Nerd on Guitar returns to Mattingly’s Tavern for an evening of fun tunes.

Friday, August 30

This Friday, starting at 5 p.m., Jeremy Langdale returns to Clearview Vineyard with classic rock, pop, and R&B tunes, followed by Sean O’Flynn at 6 p.m. for Pennings Farm Market’s Clam ‘n Jam in their Beer Garden. Also at 6 p.m., Gerry Arias performs at Double S Smokehouse (49 Oakland Ave., Warwick), and karaoke night kicks off at Trail’s End Taphouse at GWL Garden Market (1197 Route 17A, Greenwood Lake). At 7 p.m., Uncle Shoehorn with Dave Keys brings their funky tunes to Cove Castle, and at 8 p.m., Black Radish plays their unique blend of music at The Last Whisky Bar.
