Hudson Highlands Nature Museum cries 'wolf'

Cornwall-on-Hudson — Meet Atka, a live gray wolf, on Nov. 5 at two different sessions, 4:30 p.m. and again at 6 p.m., at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson. Atka is the ambassador wolf of the Wolf Conservation Center of South Salem. This special benefit for the museum will include an up-close encounter with this important but misunderstood predator. Guests will learn about the history of wolves in the United States, the importance of wolves in a healthy ecosystem and the efforts to save these magnificent creatures for future generations. People of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $22 for adults and $16 for children 12 and under. For members, the cost is $18 for adults and $12 for children.
