Historical walking tour to feature Colonial Holidays

    WARWICK-The Warwick Historical Society will be dressing up its museum buildings for “Harvest to Holly” colonial holidays tours from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Saturday, Nov. 19, or Sunday, Nov. 20. Each site on the tour will be decked out for Thanksgiving or Christmas Guests may enjoy hot cider and cookies at stops along the way, from the 1810 House, the Shingle House, the outdoors Caboose, and the Rural Barn, to the Old School Baptist Church, where there will be musical performances. The shop at the 1810 House will feature the first annual collector’s ornament series. New additions to the tour are the Ketchum House on Church St., and the recreated 1930-40’s Doctor’s Office in the Carriage House to the rear of Baird’s Tavern on Main St. Tickets for the tour are now on sale at $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $12 for youths five to 17 years of age.
