The Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is pleased to announce it will present its 13th annual “Holiday Lights in Bloom” program beginning on Friday, Nov. 26, at the Arboretum, located at 41 Grove St. at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Hamptonburgh.
“Holiday Lights in Bloom” is a free, walk-through program that does not require reservations. It will be open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 26.
The display will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (Dec. 24th and 25th).
“The Lights in Bloom exhibit has become a tradition in Orange County and we are excited to have it back this year,” Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus said. “It is always a fun and exciting event display for families and friends to enjoy together during the holiday season.”
It may be chilly out but the Arboretum will be in “full bloom” with beautiful, garden themed light displays in the forms of flowers, animals, and insects. Visitors will enjoy strolling through the various themed gardens created in lights.
