GWL Public Library’s Art Gallery presents the work of Jennifer Leonard for the month of April
GREENWOOD LAKE — The Greenwood Lake Public Library will feature the work of artist Jennifer Leonard for the month of April.
A self-taught artist living in New Jersey, Leonard works with a multitude of mediums. Her art goes through “phases” which include pen and ink, bright acrylics, calligraphy, paper tearing, photography, watercolor and currently wood burning (pyrogrophy).
Leonard’s pieces have been shown at the Saddle River Valley Cultural Center, Upper Saddle River Library, West Milford Library, Lasell College, West Milford Gallery, Kinnelon Library, Amazing Grapes, St. Catherine’s and Lakeside Clubhouse.
She has received a number of first place honors for her work, including a recycling can project to help beautify West Milford, a "Captured Moments" Photograph at the West Milford Camera Club and for decorating a Bear at the West Milford 175 Year Float Celebration.
She also placed second at Wallisch Property for her wood-burning work.
The library is located at 79 Waterstone Road in the Village of Greenwood Lake.
