Goshen senior wins scholarship

GOSHEN-Katie Melville, a senior at Goshen High School, was recently selected to receive the New York Lottery 2005 Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship. She was selected for the award based on excellence in leadership, volunteerism and extra-curricular activities. Katie is a member of the Student Senate, Youth in Government, National Honor Society, National Foreign Language Honor Society, and Model U.N. She is a volunteer at Arden Hill Hospital and the Orange Hollow Racquet and Fitness Club, where she teaches tennis. She is the daughter of Monica and John Melville of Goshen.
