Fiber fest is coming

Monroe —A Fiber Arts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Museum Village. Artists from the tri-state area will demonstrate and sell their crafts, and a certified knitting and crochet instructor will answer visitors' questions. The J.C. Merritt General Store and the Museum Village Snack Bar will both be open. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children. Museum Village members are admitted free of charge.
