Costume party for the little ones
CAMPBELL HALL-A Halloween costume party for children under age seven will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday Oct. 26, at the Hill-Hold Farm Museum on Route 416 in Campbell Hall. The event will be held rain or shine in the Hill-Hold barn and is free to all participants. A magic show will be provided by Macaroni the Clown, who will be assisted by some special costumed guests. Hay rides will tour the museum grounds, and friendly farm animals will await petting. Children will have the opportunity to bounce off their energy in the inflatable “Moon Castle.” Refreshments will be served. Each child will be given a bag of Halloween candy. The morning will conclude with a Halloween parade, so children are invited to come dressed in their favorite costume. The program is geared to the little ones, so pre-school programs and day care centers are encouraged to attend. The area is accessible for youngsters with disabilities. The party is sponsored by the Orange County Department of Parks & Recreation in conjunction with the Friends of Hill-Hold. For more information, call Sue Tucker at 457-4905 or Stucker@co.orange.ny.us.
