Chester Library will hold its semiannual book and bake sale

CHESTER-The Friends of the Chester Library will hold its semiannual book and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Chester Public Library, located on Kings Highway (at the Chester Senior Center, downstairs from the library). On Friday, Oct. 22, there will be a Friends-only preview and book sale from 5 to 8 p.m. Interested in becoming a "Friend"? Sign up at the preview. Books for donation will be accepted anytime — but no encyclopedias, textbooks or magazines, please. Donations of baked goods are welcome on the day of the sale.
