Cajun-Polkafest coming in July

PINE ISLAND-The Pavilion in Pine Island will be the setting for a foot-stomping union of Cajun and Polka music on Sunday, July 24, when Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys team up with Jimmy Sturr and his orchestra. The dance starts at 2 p.m. Tickets will be $15 in advance and are available now by sending a check to Cajun-Polkafest, Box 1, Florida, N.Y., 10921. Cajun food also will be available along with all types of other food. The event will be held rain or shine.
