Arbor Day brings trees, birds, maple syrup to Museum Village

MONROE-Museum Village wlll celebrate Arbor Day on Saturday, April 23, beginning at 11 a.m. In an Arbor Day tradition, a tree, donated by Laura Ann Farms, will be planted on the green. At 3 p.m. , Bill Streeter, Executive Director of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center, will offer "Close Encounters with Birds of Prey." Other activities include a demonstration of maple syrup production, from the tapping of the trees to the final product, including an opportunity to taste "Museum Village Maple Syrup." Admission is $10, adults; $6, seniors; $5, children. Museum Village, one of New York State's largest living history museums, is located at 1010 Rte. 17M. in Monroe.
