College presents leadership awards

The SUNY Orange Foundation held its sixth annual Leadership Awards ceremony Sept. 20 in Orange Hall Theatre. This year’s winners, or those who accepted awards on behalf of their organization, were (from left): Thomas P. Sullivan, Leadership in Community; Alan Seidman, representing the Orange County Partnership, Leadership in Business;  Karen C. Miller, Class of 1971, Alumni Leadership; Terry Saturno, representing Orange County Trust Company, Leadership in Business; and Dr. William Richards, SUNY Orange president, Leadership in Education. During the 2010-11 academic year, the SUNY Orange Foundation awarded nearly $150,000 in scholarships that helped students to attend SUNY Orange.
