Michael J. Frawley Jr. of Warwick passed away at Schervier Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. He was 96.
Michael was born on March 21, 1921, in New York City. He was the son of Michael J. Frawley Sr. and Catherine Daxon Frawley.
He was married to the late Genevieve Dunne Frawley and Irene Wood Frawley.
Michael was an Army/Air Force World War II veteran. He was a member of the 8th Air Force, 94th Bomb Group, 333rd Squadron. Staff Sergeant Michael Frawley flew 30 missions over Europe in a B17 bomber as a radio operator.
Before retiring, Michael was a steamfitter with Local 638, working for the Raisler Corporation in N.Y.C. for 39 years.
Survivors include his daughters Genny and son-in-law Frank of Warwick and Sharon Lisberg of Greenville; sons Michael, Patrick, Kevin, Timothy, Declan and Brendan Frawley,; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, James Frawley, and a sister, Margaret Dineen.
He was predeceased by his sons Brian and Kieran Frawley and Peter Barbeau; his sister Virginia McDonald; and brother Kenneth Frawley.
There will be no visitation at this time. A veteran's burial will be held at a later date.
