GOSHEN — The Junior League of Orange County ended its 2017-18 season with an awards ceremony and a transfer of leadership at Delancey’s Restaurant in Goshen during an evening reception.
The league also welcomed a new president and incoming board of directors at the reception, which was held on June 11.
“It has been an honor to represent the Junior League as president," said the outgoing president, Barbara DeStafeno. "I value the opportunity to network with women in Orange County, and around the country, who are interested in impacting their communities in positive ways. The training and experience I have had over the past two years have helped me to grow as a leader.”
The league recognized the following people for their service to the league and its community efforts:
Distinguished Service — Trish Chelsen
Volunteer of the Year — Chloe Reddick-Jackson
Above and Beyond the Call of Duty — Orysia Dmytrenko

Ten Years of Volunteering — Danielle Henry and Kristy Horaz
"It is a pleasure to serve as president for the Junior League of Orange County," said incoming president Danielle Henry. "I look forward to continuing our 96 year legacy of service in our community."
DeStafeno also thanked her board for their hard work and announced the incoming board of directors:
