Jimmy Sturr tapes national TV show in L.A.

FLORIDA — Jimmy Sturr and the Orchestra recently played in Texas. From there Sturr flew to Los Angeles and taped the nationally televised Show, "To Tell The Truth," which will air this coming spring on ABC.
The host of the show is Anthony Anderson. Also on the show will be the handler of the famous"Punxsatawny Phil," who appears every Feb. 2 to find out if there will be six more weeks of winter.
Sturr and the band continue to tour nationwide. They will perform on a cruise to the Caribbean in January, then appear in South Florida on Feb. 28 at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fla., with the Oak Ridge Boys. Several year's ago the Oak Ridge Boys recorded a CD with Sturr and the band.
On March 2, Sturr and the band appear at the Polish American Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Sturr's Saturday Night Polka Party can be heard at 6 p.m. every Saturday on Rural Radio on Sirius XM (Channel 147).
