'Cambridge Songs' WARWICK. Warwick Valley Chorale perform at Warwick Reformed Church.

On Sunday, May 19, the Warwick Valley Chorale held its second concert of the season at the Warwick Reformed Church in Warwick.
Conducting the concert was Stanley Curtis. Gail Johnson was the accompanist.
The title of the concert was "Cambridge Songs," referring to a new cantata of the same name by composer Jim Taylor. The work sets 11th Century lyrics to new melodies.
The Chorale will be performing the same work at its world premiere at New York's Carnegie Hall on June 10, with the composer conducting and the New England Symphonic Ensemble orchestra.
The second half of Sunday's concert presented classic Broadway hits and favorites from the Great American Songbook, including "Embraceable You," "I Got Rhythm," "Luck be a Lady" and "If I Were a Rich Man."
